Money Notes

Money makes you safe

Money will amplify your identity

Money just transfers goods and services and determines value. People can be corrupt and drive bad intentions, or good intentions.

Understanding this and balancing it helps you find peace

Proverbs 22:7: "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.

1 Timothy 6:10: "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."

Ecclesiastes 5:10: "Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless."

Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.

Lasting peace and happiness cannot be found by constantly feeding your desires or accumulating wealth. True contentment comes from letting go of the need for those external pleasures and finding peace in the present moment.

"We believe money is the ultimate source of happiness. But if I value inner happiness, even if I am poor, I may be happier than a billionaire. The attitude of our whole society is to place too much emphasis on the value of material things, and not to pay sufficient attention to inner values."

— The 14th Dalai Lama
